I just got a new companion for my D3, a D700 to replace my D200. I uses 2 cameras when I am on event assignment and this D700 will serve as the 2nd camera with telephoto lens fitted on.

My children exclaimed in excitement when we reach the funfair who is in town for a few weeks. They enjoyed rides on various planes, cars, bears, ferris wheel without much hesitation as they've experienced riding in Genting Theme Park. Speaking of Genting Theme Park, the local funfair is very much different from it. Loud techno music was blasting at the funfair, not very exciting rides and wobbling ferris wheel. Though we parents were worried about safety and children friendly environment, the children still had fun and smiled all the way.

It was such great experience to witness another new culture and custom during Manmeet and Tejinder's engagement. I've worn songkok to cover shootings in Mosque and now bandana in respect to the engagement ceremony which took place at the Gurdwara Sahib, Titiwangsa. During the engagement ceremony, only the bride's father and bridegrooms' entourage were in the Gurdawara. And at the dinner reception, Manmeet and Tejinder exchanged rings to mark the engagement and received blessings from friends and relatives. This reception is no exceptional as it was also ended with loud blasting music and everyone had a good time on the dance floor. Uuhh..I like that

Photos of Ganesh and Santia's wedding were requested by Doodle Studio (Magicalshots associate partner) to be featured in Shaadi Indian Bridal Magazine's latest issue. Doodle Studio (www.doodlestudio.my) was their official videographer during the event and they've done a very well video footage for this newly wed couple. The magazine could be obtain now at any book store.

It was very touching to see Mayhala left her house for a new path of life in tears. Although she's looking forward to start a new journey with Bala, she's also reluctant to leave her ailing father. Due to the reason, their reception has been postponed. Nevertheless, she managed to handle the situation accordingly and everything went on smoothly. She rushed off after the wedding ceremony to visit her father in the hospital.

We had a casual portrait session weeks before the wedding. One with extra bright smile and another with extra charm. Every expression were so natural. No doubt you can see how deeply in love this love birds are. On the wedding day, the whole environment was lighten up with the beautifully decorated hall by Sophia's sister. With all the joy and laughter added up with the correct ambience created a very meaningful wedding day which made it unforgettable.

This is one challenging assignment which tested my limits and stamina. It's 2.30 in the morning. While everyone was still in their dreamland, I were at Santia's place getting ready for her big day. We were then ushered to the ceremony hall at 4.30am. It was such a heart whelming sight to see so many friends and relatives who turned up to witness their wedding at such early hour. By the time I reach home, I was totally exhausted but it was a whole new experience for me to work in the wee hours.

When I first received Jin Yee's email enquiry, his name reminded me of my primary school friend which we haven't been in contact since, and when we met, haha.. it was trully him. Pitty him, he has been forced to shave at ... ehem.... during the game session, a special request by Soh Hong as she wants him to remember to shave everyday!!!. HILARIOUS!!!
