I made a booking on Nikon D3S the first day Nikon announce it. As I have been monitoring some pre-production review on this machine, the high ISO performance is too tempting. Got my Nikon D3S the first day it arrived in Malaysia. After using it in 4 wedding assignments, over 8000 shots, I must say, Nikon did it again! Even at ISO6400, photos taken are almost as good as my trust worthy D3 at ISO1600 and without any burned pixel. Well, that is the only main reason I upgraded my gadget. I have also traded in my 70-200 VRI for the VRII. ..shhhh..don't tell my wife~~

If you noticed a tall guy with a bright smile whole day long..that's Bala. He's really tall and I've got to look up while talking to him, imagine taking his pictures. Luckily, he's sitted most of the time during the ceremony. Hence, saved my neck..ahaha.. Although not as tall as him, Sherly's smile is no less captivating than Bala's. Andy was all smiled when he led his entourage, all in custom made t-shirt and cars labeled with custom made stickers as well. This lovely couples are blessed with great friends who became the groom and bride's maids eventhought the wedding day was held on weekday. Therefore, they took leave in order to celebrate this meaningful day with the newly wed. Even so, the groommates were not spared by the bridesmaids with their tricky tasks.

I nearly couldn't recognise Jasmit during the engagement ceremony. He was without beard when we met up to sign our agreement. The "now-you-see-it, now-you-don't see the beard" transformation made me blurred for a second. Although the reception went quite busily with blessings and programs, they managed to steal some time looking into each other's eyes lovingly. From there, a picture of one handsome and loving couple came to frame. Finally, like all other Punjabi reception, dancing session is a must to end the ceremony.

This is another new and special wedding I had the chance to work on. Not because of any new games the groommates needed to go through or anything but did you notice there's a little boy on Valene's lap? Yup, he's Chin Leng and Valene's son. Isn't he cool especially in his tux? Even their wedding jelly cake and cupcakes are specially catered for lil' ones..ahaha

Putting on lipstick is something normal for groommates to go through during the game and tricks session in a wedding. However, for Guat Vee's mates is not so normal as they have to kiss each other on the lips after applying the lipstick....gulp~~ After a round of laughter, Vee told the bridesmaid "Make it quick, I want to get married". Upon hearing this, a plate of chilli padi where brought out and the eager beaver Vee shoved all of them in his mouth which were actually meant to be shared among the groommates. Could you imagine the freshly grinded chilli padi smell that makes your eyes go watery? Hats off

I used to see lots of thank you cards in my children pediatrician's room. Didn't give much thought about it till yesterday when I received a thank you card all the way from Down Under. Needless to say, I'm happy as Larry..ahaha.. thanks for the compliments. Those words and the card itself are great encouragement. Vishal & Loges, thank you so much to both of you..
