Remember this lovely couple from their wedding engagement in Malacca? When they met me up to collect their wedding photos recently, they even came along with a very lovely fruit basket and my children were so delighted seeing so many types of fruits in it..ahahah..Their thoughtfulness and generousity has brought much delight not only to me but to my family too. Again, thanks alot Palani and Yoges. It's a great pleasure working with you both :O0

This is another wedding held in Ipoh. This time I did not made a mad rush up north but rather an early morning trip there. Talking about Ipoh, I've made many trips there for wedding assignment purposes. Although I'm there over 10 times, I am still not familiar with the food heaven town as I'm there for assignment and back home after. So, no time for sightseeing as well..hahaha..Nevertheless, going to drop by the famous "kai see hor fun" rice noodle with shredded chicken and "nga choi kai" bean prout with blanched chicken. There are many blogs about this famous dishes in Ipoh and it's really not something to be miss ...slurppp~~

The groom and I has almost an identical name, Derence and Darren. So I spent half the day mistakenly turning my head to people calling for Derence and since he's the spotlight of the day, you can imagine how many people or time his name was called and everytime I thought it's me. Eventually I got fed up and shut my name recognition function till I even ignored my own name when called by Derence..hahaha..blurred. Now, more bout the wedding. It was held in a very beautiful church in the centre of KL city. The surrounding was so serene despite the hustle and bustle of KL traffic madness. A very easy going morning whereby everyone just got themselves ready and head for the church. Yeah, without the game session. Ain't Derence a lucky man. Although they forego the game session, but did have the chinese tea ceremony after the church wedding to pay respect and receive blessings from relatives for their blissful union.

Itchy backside, I got myself an iphone 4 while shopping with my wifey. Not something out of a sudden but all this while I'm a windows mobile user and have been eyeing on it since the news leak of this phone. Well it's my first iphone though, hence there are much to learn. No doubt it's trully a fantastic phone with fast respond and it's display is amazingly sharp and clear. Most of all it has all the important features I needed to organise my daily life...hahaha. So why is it still killing me softly? It's so ADDICTIVE..the smart features, the cool applications that could make our life easier, swifting fingers here and there..I dare not explore into the games yet which at this moment am trying to restrain myself from..hahah.. so now you know why I've not been updating my blog for the past month..the culprit revealed :>

Here it is..the much awaited 2nd posting of Stanley and Deborah's wedding which was held in Taiping. "Yup.. it's Stanley and not Alex Yoong" was what I kept assuring my wife whenever she stared at my monitor with her big eyes while I'm touching up their photos :p A beautiful church wedding it was with the bride and groom arriving in different antique cars. It certainly gave a nostalgic touch to the whole wedding which will be deeply cherished in everyone's memory. Comes night, all guests, friends and relatives where warmly welcomed and treated with great food, songs and even dance party in a very romantically decorated hall, all in the purplish theme. Lovely :)

If you've been following my blog, I've a few write-up about the distance between bride and groom's place. However, this must be the shortest by far as their house are just opposite each other's...hahahah..Hence, I could capture some moments which happened concurrently. While waiting for Siew Fang to get ready, I went over to Chee Wooi's place for some shots and vice versa. I wonder if I'll have clients who stay side-by-side to break this record :)))

Something To Ponder About

Normally we try to shy away from visiting tourist places during peak season or holidays to avoid the crowd. However, with two children and the orbit of whom your life circle around, this cannot be avoided anymore. Since my daughter is attending kindy now, hence we've to wait till school holiday if possible {^.^} Our recent visit to Aquaria felt like walking down memory lane whereby we used to visit with our parents during our childhood time, and now with our children. Looking back at the pictures we took, gave a pause in my life to ponder on how amazing our life cycle could be.

I think I'd offended many people with my backside during the engagement ceremony :p This memorable ceremony was held at Prima's home and each corner of the house was filled with friends and relatives. Despite the crowd, I've to move around to capture every moment that evolved around this lovely couple. Hence, many must have met my bump in or unintentionally...hahaha.. However, 2 weeks later during their wedding ceremony, instead of being given a kind of look for shoving my bump everywhere, everyone gave their smiles generously towards my camera :D

I was told this is a Northen Indian wedding. However, they had the Sangeet ceremony before the wedding day at Gujarawati Association in Bangsar followed by their wedding ceremony the next day :-/. Even their wedding ceremony was different from the rest I've taken. So is this Indian or Sikh wedding??..ahaha.. let me update you guys after I've clarified this with the lovely couple ;) Nevertheless, I can tell you something for sure is that everyone enjoyed and danced their heart out during the Sangeet ceremony without the influence of alcohol..not even a single sip B) Astonished eh? Perhaps that the meaning behind Sangeet whereby everyone just dance and basically have a good time which will be a true blessings to the newly wed to see every of their guest being happy for their wedding :)
