Wedding Reception of Hong Keng & Siew Ping
December 8th, 2010Link: Hong Keng & Siew Ping's Gallery
Siew Ping is a beautician and being a part of the beauty industry, she's exposed to many style and trend which was implied in her makeup and hairdo during her wedding day whereby it's kinda unique. It's something like those we normally see in fashion magazine. And because of this, it made me felt like as if I was in a model shooting session The emcee made quite an interesting experiment on that night too. If you've browsed through Hong Keng and Siew Ping's photos, you'll see some pictures showing how they join their finger tips and bend the middle finger inward. Now try separating each finger and you'll find out we can't on the ring finger. Taa-daa..that's why it's the union finger.
Engagement of Azurin & Norzira

Last Chinese New Year Eve, I photographed the wedding of Zira's elder sister Yusof & Hanis and it's just like yesterday as everything is still fresh and vivid in my memory. Their family is exceptionally warm, nice and humorous to the bits..ahaha..We giggled non stop during our free shots session around the kampung area. And now a year later, I photographed Zira's engagement. Zira herself is a photography enthusiast, so it is much easier when we are taking portrait shots with her au naturel posing. Perhaps it's the au naturel of everyone and surrounding there made me felt good to be back for this assignment.
Wedding of Don & Evelyn

Most of the time, women complains men are too quiet. However, it's totally different with Don and Evelyn. She complained he's too noisy..ahahha.. Perhaps, that's the sparks between them
Their actual wedding ceremony and reception was held in Singapore a week before and this was a simple formality of tea ceremony and reception. Though it's simple, but it's a very meaningful day for Don to get to know Evelyn's family better and to pay respect to her relatives.
Wedding of Eric & Angela

Eric and Angela is one charming couple. They both have very infectious smile that added instant zest to the photos and definately brightened everyone's mood. On top of that, Eric is a real charmer when comes to singing. His melodic voice has won him many singing competitions, country champion for Great Eastern's singing competition to name one. No doubt he serenaded a few songs on this special day to express his love for Angela. Perhaps that's how Eric caught Angela's attention in the first place ![]()

Through Jasmit and Amy's wedding, I had the golden opportunity to witness and captured a different cultured wedding's whole sequence in the span of 5 days in a row. Starting from Henna, Mainyan, Sangeet and last but not least Reception. That's the beauty of staying in Malaysia. Not only are we rich with spices but also culture. See how beautiful this wedding evolved from one ceremony to another. Each unique, each meaningful.

Wedding of Arvin & Shini

This is another wedding held in Ipoh. This time I did not made a mad rush up north but rather an early morning trip there. Talking about Ipoh, I've made many trips there for wedding assignment purposes. Although I'm there over 10 times, I am still not familiar with the food heaven town as I'm there for assignment and back home after. So, no time for sightseeing as well..hahaha..Nevertheless, going to drop by the famous "kai see hor fun" rice noodle with shredded chicken and "nga choi kai" bean prout with blanched chicken. There are many blogs about this famous dishes in Ipoh and it's really not something to be miss ...slurppp~~
Wedding of Derence & Elaine
September 21st, 2010Link: Derence & Elaine's Wedding Gallery
The groom and I has almost an identical name, Derence and Darren. So I spent half the day mistakenly turning my head to people calling for Derence and since he's the spotlight of the day, you can imagine how many people or time his name was called and everytime I thought it's me. Eventually I got fed up and shut my name recognition function till I even ignored my own name when called by Derence..hahaha..blurred. Now, more bout the wedding. It was held in a very beautiful church in the centre of KL city. The surrounding was so serene despite the hustle and bustle of KL traffic madness. A very easy going morning whereby everyone just got themselves ready and head for the church. Yeah, without the game session. Ain't Derence a lucky man. Although they forego the game session, but did have the chinese tea ceremony after the church wedding to pay respect and receive blessings from relatives for their blissful union.
