Another shocking occurrence. Don't get me wrong. The wedding went on fine. Everything was as planned and everyone had a great time. It's just me who's not used to it. Not the wedding or the culture but the groom! Arunav has changed into a totally different looking person after shaving off his beard for the night reception. Luckily Amrit looks still the same, else I would have thought I am in the wrong wedding again

Church wedding is always a challenge for me. I am sure many of us are aware about the rules and regulations we have to respect during the wedding ceremony. At times, I am not even allowed to walk around or going up the alter to take front view pictures of the newly wed. However, at times breaking the rules are essential :D Dominic and Audrey choose sky blue as their wedding theme color which matches the church very well. During the reception, sky blue decorations embelished the whole hall which lighten up the mood instantly. By looking at the pictures , jazz and blues music from that night are still lingering in my memory. Bliss~~

2 hours before the wedding, it was pouring heavily. At that time, I wasn't sure to be happy or worry as Jason and Charlene had planned as garden wedding. With fingers crossed, hoping for the best, the gloomy sky gave way to a clear and blue just in time for the wedding ceremony. I can literally hear the sigh of relief from everyone as an hour ago, the moment was so tensed. Everything went on as planned and as I was happily clicking away, I suddenly spotted a very familiar person. A person which I've known since secondary and the sight of him tensed me up again. My discipline teacher during my secondary school days!!! I'm sure everyone had some vivid memory about their discipline teacher as much as I do..hahaha.. However, upon seeing how goofy he was during the reception changed my view on him entirely for the last 20 over years. Not only was this as memorable moment for Jason and Charlene, was mine too :)))

The first thing that cought my attention was Subashini's traditional saree and the matching accessories. She was in a red saree with intricate embroidery of golden thread. As far as I know, each detail of the bride's saree has its own meaning. From the complexity of its embroidery to it's color, each resemble the grace of the bride. Most importantly, she was brimming with joy while preparing for the big day. As she walked into the hall, she was truly the centre of attention. Although her saree was very eye catching, her smile was even more appealing upon meeting up with Vijay.

Normally doctors have very pack schedule during work. Not sure if it's because they are used to it, both Anis and Sabrine decided to have 3 events in a day on their wedding day and coincidently they are both doctors :D We started the day with their marriage registration, then followed by a church wedding. Right before the wedding reception, we had a Baha'i ceremony. However, it might sounds like a hectic schedule but everything went on smoothly and everyone enjoyed the whole process. Most importantly, a happy memory was created eternally.

Many couples told me how simple they would like their wedding ceremony to be initially. However, reality wasn't as they wanted to especially if requested by the elders. Nevertheless, they came out with a plan which pleased both the elderly and themself. No frilly wedding gown or boisterous game session but sweet wedding dress, memorable ROM and a happy family reception. As simple as it sounds, yet everyone was pleased. Great idea eh :O0

This is my favourite shot of the day. As I normally likes to take happy expression on a wedding event, I didn't manage to take enough during the earlier part of the wedding until Siva & Shan sitted together. Eventhough I didn't hear what they were laughing about, I love how the photo turn out to be. A photo truly tells a thousand words.

Wedding is one of the most important time of our life whereby we spent uncounted time and effort to make sure everything perfect and according to our own choice as well. That's how Kamalanathan and Jamunah felt for their special day. They surveyed a few wedding planners, videographer and photographer to choose the one which they like best and even hand picked their wedding ornaments just to make sure there's no room for any mistakes and flaws. However, I was only told of all these details when I was delivering their photo album. Phew~~ lucky me else I'll be very pressured during the assignment. :>> Am glad they like their photos and the finishing touch. ;)

I met Vicknes and Padma for the first time during the wedding ceremony. Reason being, I was engaged by their parents :O0 how lucky ya. They had a traditional Indian wedding with myriad of colors from their costume and decorations which is very interesting and also liven up everybody's mood. However, too much of colors is also another headache. The sun roof at the temple had reflected funny colors to everything under it. Hence, the headache XX(

You might held your ceremony at some ornate synagogue with beautiful and historical architecture or even in your parents' backyard. Ceremony sites could determine the gamut. But whatever or wherever the site may be, we can always use decoration to embellish it. The simple hall in Perumal Temple was tastefully decorated to echo the sentiments of the day and it has delivered a very personal statement. It made a momentous moment which lead all guests and relative felt blissful and warm and so did I during the ceremony. My car broke down upon reaching the temple and I was so lucky it stopped right below the pedestrian bridge which is a route towards the temple. When I entered the hall, the atmosphere impart a felling of spirituality that GOD is watching over me. With the oomph created by the atmosphere, my mood wasn't dampened at all by the broke down but continue clicking as the momentum set forth knowing my wife came faithfully with my backup.
