This beautiful reception was held at Rama V Thai for a group of close friends and relatives. The environment of the place set a great mood for such meaningful occasion which also heightened my challenges during this assignment. The dimmed yellow tinted lighthing works magic for the ambience but I needed more magic to capture good looking pictures..ahaha..However, the music played during the dance session really had some magic in it as my hip felt like shaking to the beats too

After a long consideration, finally I am in Facebook. I have been receiving a lot of invitations but did not take any action until now. I always think that this website and blog is more than enough, as maintaining it is not an easy task. I have one personal Facebook account which I've never update anything in it, not even once. So, I created this new Facebook account, just for you wedding couples & friends. I am starting to see the benefit of Facebook, but still struggling to get use to Facebook features. My daughter is all ready for her trip to Hong Kong. Everytime she sees aeroplane in the sky, she'll be very amazed by the flying machine. We've been telling her that we'll take a plane to pay Mickey a visit. Let's see what will be her response when she board the plane..ahaha..

This will be a family trip. Hence. I will not be able to attend to any correspondence till next Tuesday. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I was listening to the radio when I'm on my way to Ragu & Veshalini's Wedding. Since it's 1st of April, the topic of the day was everyone's april fool's experience. A caller then related her sad experience. It's her birthday and her friends called her up for a gathering to celebrate her birthday. When she was there, nobody turn up After waiting awhile, she received a call from her friend saying it was a prank. To rub salt to her wounded heart, there wasn't any other plan to celebrate her birthday at all, which means this is totally an april fool's joke. To me, this joke went abit too far. Hopefully my boy will not have to go through this Happy 2nd Birthday to you, My Boy.

Drop by at the new Nikon Centre in Berjaya Time Square to test out the new Nikon 24mm F1.4. Drag my lovely wife along to be my model to test out this lens capability. I think this is her first obvious appearance in my BLOG. Amazingly, this lens is very sharp even at F1.4. It enables me to focus very closely to my subject. However, focusing is slower compare to 24-70mm F2.8 lens. The amazement cost a whopping price of around RM6800. Would I get it ..nah .. don’t think I’ll utilize it much. It’s more of a collection item rather than for work as it doesn’t fit well in my wedding photography purpose. Nevertheless, this lens is surely attractive.

Haha..another job marathon and sent my wife crazily worried. Normally, I would travel by air if my assignment is around Penang or Johore area. However, due to time constrain, this time was made exceptional. After a night assignment at Passion Road, came back home for a quick rest and off again driving to Penang Island in the wee hour of 3am. A tin of Nescafe and some Japanese Snow Biscuits kept me fresh throughout the journey. Luckily, this was a half day assignment at Penang Gurdwara. If it's gonna be a full day job, i'll be a dead fish then..ahaha..I even have time to savour the Penang char kwey teow at Gurney Drive before heading back home. Seriously, 7 hours of driving in a day is really tiring

It's the 9th day of Chinese New Year and the atmosphere in Klang is even merrier than the 1st day..ahaha..The sky was decorated with magnificent fireworks non stop for at least half an hour pass midnight and on earth, Hokkien Chinese prayed with a selections of food and sugarcane stalks tied together with red ribbons as part of the offerings to the Jade Emperor for his intervention on the 9th day. And now, MONDAY BLUES!!!!

I made a booking on Nikon D3S the first day Nikon announce it. As I have been monitoring some pre-production review on this machine, the high ISO performance is too tempting. Got my Nikon D3S the first day it arrived in Malaysia. After using it in 4 wedding assignments, over 8000 shots, I must say, Nikon did it again! Even at ISO6400, photos taken are almost as good as my trust worthy D3 at ISO1600 and without any burned pixel. Well, that is the only main reason I upgraded my gadget. I have also traded in my 70-200 VRI for the VRII. ..shhhh..don't tell my wife~~
