The moment I arrived at the temple where the wedding ceremony was held, the makeshift mandap caught my attention. It looked normal, just like the rest but somehow something was different. At the moment, I couldn't figure out what was the difference and also not much time to twitch my brain. Moreover the ceremony went on smoothly without any fuss. A few weeks later when I delivered the photos to the newly wed, I was told by Sukumar that the wedding hall decorator actually forgotten to place a makeshift stage for the mandap and they have to make do with a carpet and 'tikar' during the ceremony haha.. now I know what was missing.
