Wedding of Raja & Doris
February 27th, 2009A month before the wedding, Das and I arranged for a meetup to finalise the photography package. When I first met Das, I was thinking "Great", something different for me.. Couple of minutes later, Doris came by and was introduced to me by Das. Then only was I told that it'll be his daughter's wedding. Oh well, at least I got the record straight that moment rather than on the wedding day
. However, it has been great working with the Prasannas and Pakiams

Gorgeousss...
February 22nd, 2009Yesterday was an eye-opening day for me when I was on an assignment. Das, the bride's father proudly showed me one of his treasured from his antique collection. A "No. 1A Pocket Kodak". I am not a camera collector nor vintage collector, but when I saw this camera, I was drolling.
It was manufactured from 1926 to 1932, using 116 film rolls. To open, pull a knob and the camera unfolds and slides forward for picture-taking. It looks really old but it certainly is gorgeous, at least to me

Wedding of Suresh & Dorin
February 18th, 2009Is on the sixth day of chinese new year, while most of the people are still in holiday mood, I am looking forward for Suresh & Dorin's wedding. The bride's house is just a stone throw away from the bridegroom's. This pair of lovebirds decided to exchange their vows at "Our Lady of Lourdes Church", one of the oldest building in Klang. A meaningful morning ended with a joyful reception in Hokkien Association.
Wedding of Yusof & Hanis
February 7th, 2009Everything is pink, sweet and nice on the first day followed by a romantic white theme on the second day. The splendid smiles and humorous moments from this couple made their photos so pleasant and memorable. The hospitality extended were so warm that I couldn't refuse the meal offered although I'm actually rushing off home for my chinese new year eve reunion dinner. What a lovely couple.
The New Nikon AF-S 50mm 1.4G
February 4th, 2009Nikon has announced the new AF-S 50mm 1.4G lens since last September but only till now that it is available in Malaysia. Many would be wondering whether if it's worth getting the new AF-S 50mm or the good old AF 50mm 1.4D. I have own this two lenses and my personal opinion, both have its pros and cons.
The new lens is lighter, much more consistent to get sharp photos, quiet focusing and lens will not stick out. But somehow I feel that the focusing is slower than the older lens, especially in dim environment. Most part of the lens is plastic build, that is why it is lighter. Some say the new lens is sharper, to me I don't see much of a difference, but I like the dreamy feel photos produce by the old lens.
Conclusion, if you don't mind spending additional RM900 to get the AF-S, you will be happy to own it. But if you already have the old 50mm 1.4D, it's advisable to keep it.
